Picture from a trip to Cuttyhunk last year. Cattle cooling off and just hanging around. Read something about the islands owners getting a tax break for agricultural usage. Better than seeing seals I think, they dont eat fish!

There are a few on Patience island and a bunch on Prudence. They come down and watch me fish when I'm in close at a couple of locations.

I was just talking about the cattle on the island. One night about 20 tears ago we were trolling through Quicks Hole and I was piloting the boat, looking back as my partner was setting out lines when....BANG!!! What the hell was that?!I no sooner said that when a cow mooed all the way down the starboard side of the boat. Scared the life out of us. All this happened at 3 am. Not many people can say the hit a cow in the ocean. LOL

Canapitsit Chanel and Nashawena island, with the Marthas Vineyard on the right in the distance.
