Rocklobster-- They had a bite on Tuesday about a mile or so off the groner, doesn't mean that they will be there on the weekend. there were no dogs off the break water but my lobster friends in Rockport said that you could grab them by the tail off of Rockport. You never know where them dogs aregoing to be. My best friend said he was catching dogs in 8' of water . He is a shore fisherman.

Also beware that the coast guard and the enviromental police have been checking boats. If you have a $35.00 licesnce you can not have any body else on your boat unless they have a stripe bass license also. You need a boat license to cover everybody on your boat which cost $160.00 They have been confiscating fish. One person was also fined $200.00 and he lost 15 fish which they took.

Hey FR - I haven't heard of this license - are you talking about a commercial SB fishing license?

Yup ! commercial license. If you have a individual $35.00 stripe bass license and you are commercial fishing everybody on your boat has to have one if you have more then 2 fish per person.

If you have a boat license minimum cost$160.00 everybody on your boat is covered with that license. You don't have to worry about taking your friends commercial fishing for stripers
