View Full Version : Stabbing and shooting at the Taunton Mall
Hookedagain 05-10-2016, 08:32 PM Tonight there were 12 people transported to the hospital for stab wounds and injuries from a man that was stabbing people in the mall. The suspect has been fatally shot by an off duty police officer. Sounds like this started on Myrics st and ended at the mall. I hope none of the injuries are life threatening. Thoughts and Prayers to all involved.

Sea Dangles 05-11-2016, 08:54 PM Hard to believe he passed the background check for knives. When Hillary is president the victims will be suing Wusthof.

But, his family said "he was the most caring family man and loved everyone. He would have given the shirt off his back to whomever needed it." They said the same about the cunning, caring Jefferey Dalmer!!

Do you have a link to the story saying he lost his health coverage due to the "affordable care act"?

I never said he lost his health coverage due to the "affordable care act " . More likely the severe regulations and control over what hospitals can and can't do that is part of the affordable care act resulted in him being released , I don't have a link it's just a hunch .
This piece of legislation is destroying the healthcare industry

PaulS 05-13-2016, 07:18 AM totally wrong.
Mike P 05-13-2016, 10:33 AM MGL ch. 123, sec. 12 existed years before the ACA.
FishermanTim 05-13-2016, 01:00 PM Now the hospital is playing the "blame game".
Will anyone come out and actually admit to a mistake, or will they all try to sweep it around until the next "big story" breaks and takes them out of the spotlight?
buckman 05-13-2016, 01:40 PM The guy was on Mass Health ( surprise ) . From what I understand , the wrong name was put on the release form and that's what happened .
