Look out guys.The drunks are back.A very good friend of mine got into a scuffle,all over who had the right to be in a fishing spot first.Apparantly quite a few are staying in Newport.Providence is going to be the epicenter for 10,000 drunks for the next week.
I feel safer,how 'bout y'all?God save us all.

Sorry about the language.Poor choice of words on my buddy's part and a poorer choice on my part for repeating them.
The big wuss is just fine.I saw him this morning.He just got man-
handled out of where he was fishing because that was where they were drinking.Don't get me wrong it doesn't make it right.The brother has the right to fish the shoreline where he pleases,they didn't have any right there drinking and causing trouble.
I've always been a believer in that bad things will eventaully happen to those who are out to do bad things to others,though that is sometimes hard to see.There's nothing to be happy about in this situation,but we'll both live.
That's all I got say on it.

All this ended up being reported to nothing but laughter and a

Certain places have a higher Riff-Raff factor than others.

We are VERY lucky out here. You can count the riff-raff on one hand.

Now counting the drunks ? .........

And 99 % of 'em aren't even locals ! Skip and Muff out getting lit. Completely harmless except that they could potentially fall off a pier and drown !

I take off for the mainland tomorrow. 2 weeks working around the Boston area.
Bringing my golf clubs and one rod. 8'6" with 14 lb. Not on the braided stuff yet. Someday soon.

I have my eye out for the bad guys. :mad:
