Went out yesterday, did some striper fishing. Just about got run over a few times by a huge flotilla in a paddle race around Cape Ann (at least 200 boats over a half hour or more). Jigged up a few pollock, (got 5 at once on my Sabiki), live lined 'em, caught a 24 inch striper. Picked up a few winter flounder on the way in. Gorgeous weather, lots of good folks in a party mood. Hope to see more 'yak fishers out there.

I actually haven't even fished up there yet this year (don't live there anymore) but pollack have produced well for me in the past in those areas and this is the time of year things start to pick up as fish get settled into their summer rocky pattern
