ALBEEEEEEEZ!!!! :) I have issues I know. I'm ok with it  Sometimes these fish get fussy, when they do, (like yesterday for me, lots of boats there, about 6 other kayaks). I usually switch to a funky color called a tutti fruity, its either pink over chartreuse, or chartreuse over pink (which is what i like). my flies are simple, pattern doesn't matter, its just the color. those 2 colors reflect a ton of UV light (or whatever companies use to die the materials that color), when I shine my UV flashlight on them (the one used for curing UV glue), they light up like a christmas tree. If you have one of those UV lights, shine it on various fly tying materials or even some lures and see the results. it works for me, figured it might be worth mentioning! bobber 09-14-2016, 11:43 AM the kid knows how to work a fish for sure!! chefchris401 09-14-2016, 03:07 PM Sometimes these fish get fussy, when they do, (like yesterday for me, lots of boats there, about 6 other kayaks). I've made a few trips this year and had a few shots but haven't landed one yet. Picky fish or dirty water when I've found them. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device I went 4 for 6 yesterday just blind casting once the boat crowds thinned out, however I did put in about 6 hrs. all mine came on a white and tan fly. wind today looks good. the storm wednesday into thursday looks crappy for the inshore albies, some strong winds coming... scottw 09-26-2016, 10:01 AM Think this wind will effectively kill any good shot of getting them from shore? Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device perfect morning for it...dropping tide and wind cranking down the bay....found them from shore in good numbers where they haven't been so hopefully they are spreading out...got really picky when the sun got higher, eating tiny anchovies Clogston29 09-26-2016, 12:03 PM hoping to give it a go tomorrow. FyshhTrap 10-01-2016, 06:40 PM If I lived up that way, I would go talk a walk on that big breakwall. One of those spots Ive always wanted to go fish, but never made it that far east. I figured I would share my favorite pic so far this year, my moochy dog doing what she does best. for me nothing beats a fly rod shore caught alby, they have no place to go but out, into my backing everytime! That is a Great pic !!! scottw 10-02-2016, 06:20 AM hoping to give it a go tomorrow. saw them in the bay every day that I was out last week and got tight all but one day.....sparse but they are around, always worth the effort and great with no boats around, hoping to sneak one or two more in this week before this potential storm...the water stayed nice and clear and clean through this blow :uhuh: fish raptor 10-02-2016, 09:06 AM saw them in the bay every day that I was out last week and got tight all but one day.....sparse but they are around, always worth the effort and great with no boats around, hoping to sneak one or two more in this week before this potential storm...the water stayed nice and clear and clean through this blow :uhuh: beautiful pic Scottw........ out of the ordinary..... vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
