I have a question I did some chart distances from westport and newport
knowing Nautical mile are a bit longer .. but when i plug the waypoint into the GPS the 2 were not even close example Newport to SW ledge
the GPS had that at 28 miles? chart miles were 15nm which is 17 miles
and thats straight line distance its most likely me but didnt think i was that far off ..
I have the middle claw from westport chart miles as 14nm also anyone have the their numbers thanks wayne

I don't know those places, but did you check the scale at the bottom of the chart and use dividers?

Not sure if you using some dry humor here or not.............but your suppose to use the NS long scale to measure distance.........it a mile a minute. 60 miles in a deg on long.
