nightfighter 08-19-2016, 07:44 AM Sorry to here of your son's ACL.... Tore mine and the MCL when I was 18. The technology is so much better than when I had mine. Get the reconstruction and I will help any way I can to motivate him to follow through with the PT. What he does now will affect his use of the leg for the rest of his life.

Rob Rockcrawler 08-19-2016, 10:38 AM Bummer about Liam. Heading to RI to the beach for a couple days with the girlfriend. Kinda nice having a box in the bed of my truck to store the rods, she doesn't know the details about the romantic walks on the beach. Then vacation next week and trying to fish as much as possible since I haven't put in nearly enough time on the water so far this year.

Joe, I saw 79.8 in Narr Bay last week and nothing under 73 all the way to Newport. No fish to speak of except an occasional short Fluke and a lot of Scup and BSB.
John. good luck to Liam with the ACl. Tore both knees in my lifetime. As Ross said, much better technology than when we tore ours.
tysdad115 08-19-2016, 12:07 PM Damn Liam! Good luck!
Ty has football practice tomorrow so that means for once he won't beat me at our club match in the AM. Sunday we're off to Harvard Sportsmen's club to shoot in the New England Regional Championship. Should be a good time, hopefully Ty finishes well in the Jr division.

Poncho 08-20-2016, 04:50 AM Fish fish fish then maybe fish. I have torn acl and mcl In both knees. Had the cadaver replacement. I was back to work lite duty with in 6 weeks both times. Doctors are so good these days. Also working hard in pt helps. They also put you on a machine right away that gets your leg moving. He will be fine

Duke41 08-20-2016, 06:28 PM My son had ACL MCL surgery over Brighams at Gillette early June. He is up and at it now as if it never tore. Went with the piece if his own hamstring option for the ACL. Small scares no issues at all.
