TL : DR

Stopped once it morphed to be a guilt shaming Sarah McLachlan self loathe commercial.

Raise your kids, smart, kind, adventurous, inquisitive. Let the fail, let them sneak, let them succeed.

Oh, and make sure they have a FULLY CHARGED IPhone so they can Pokémon from hell and back, because the real world doesn't have "reset" button for when they fail.

Oh wait, they can't be allowed to fail, or to lose, or they might feel bad about the fact that their parents didn't teach them to play sports (sorry, Xbox games don't count). When they do eventually go outside and "play a game" everyone gets a trophy for showing up, and there are NO WINNERS.

Nah, I'd rather teach them that like ain't fair and you need to be your own person. I don't raise sheep so I don't want one around now!
Show them that you can be considerate, courteous, respectful and STILL stand up for yourself!

Of course nowadays we encounter too many people that were raised by, an influenced by violent sources and they have incorporated violence into their every response, so safety will also be a major concern!
