Sure as heck beats finding out you don't have breaks while driving in the rain?

Like most tasks in life, you always feel better when you can do the job yourself. Although I've not tackled brakes yet, it's one thing I'd like to be able to do for myself.

On a side note, it would be surprising to find out how many kids and 20-somethings that know how to do any menial everyday tasks, since too many are so self-absorbed in the online video world.

Not saying all kids are unknowledgeable, just that too many are.

That's a good question. I am certain far less kids know how to do stuff like this than when I was younger.

As far as doing your own brakes goes, all it takes is time, patience, strong hands and the right tools.
