Back from Vermont. Great trip, good music, and some craft beer scores. Heady Topper and Focal Banger are now relatively easy to purchase at retail now that Alchemist has opened its new brewery in Stowe. Waited about 5 minutes for a case. For those in the hunt for new beer - Foley Brothers Prospect DIPA is worth seeking out! As we were leaving yesterday we made a stop in Waterbury and scored the real New England Holy Grail of Beer - Lawsons Sip of Sunshine.

Did you try the Lost Nation Mosaic DZ? I would choose this before the others mentioned.

You gotta try some of the Hill Farmstead offerings when you are up there as well

What I brought back was different than what we drank while eating out there. We drank mostly Hill Farmstead beers (Susan, Edward) when we went out. Looked for but didn't see offered any Lost Nation or Fiddlehead. They will keep me coming back to continue the search. Also stopped at Long Trail brewery on the way home - how can you not like drinking a beer at a brewery while looking for trout in the stream out back - most beautiful brewery I've been to.
