View Full Version : Lost my virginity (Again)......
fish raptor 10-01-2016, 10:56 AM Last weekend me and another SBC forum gent who lives local to me (yup, he's another New Yorkaa) went out to see if we both could loose our virginity on hardtails..... We started at 7ish and got Sea Bass which we through back and small Schoolies, Blues and Scup but it was heading past 12 so we decided to move the boat again. We quickly noticed top water action and headed over as close as we could. Not knowing wether it were the Blues or the Albies we began to cast. Shortly after my parter hooked up to something that was running hard and after a good fight he landed his first hardtail in the boat. We laughed and I shook his hand. Thirty minutes later he was shaking my hand.
Got that monkey off my back. Next stop is loosing our virginity to Tog.
Oh, by the way we caught them at Maramossett ledge which is slightly due south of Killarney cove. Regarding lures, we had started on the usual Albie go to's with no results but once we switched to Gel Sliders in the camel color.... bamm ! :hs:
