I have a wood stove with a rectangular vent out the top that I need to adapt into an 8" circular chimney liner. It's a slim fit between the top of the stove and the fireplace ceiling... so nothing I've found commercially available seems to fit.
Anyone handy with sheet metal and able to help out? Know someone?

When I installed one a long time ago there was a there was a fire resistant insulation that went into the top of the fire place, anyways go to a sheet metal fab shop and have it made out of cold rolled steel

What make of stove? Check out Yankee Fireplace website. Maybe you can find something to match in their venting parts section. But the make of the stove will be key to finding something.
It's a Vermont Stove Company Stove... very rare and basically impossible to find parts for
