Anyone see this first hand? Must have been a heck of a blitz when the bunker were forced up inside. What a shame they were not able to escape.

I think they had another large fish (Bunker) kill in Peconic Bay, LI (East end of LI) last season and was blamed on low oxygen concentration relative to the high number of Bunker.

Used to be a common occurrence in the small rivers running into Long Island Sound.
