View Full Version : Fish art
nightfighter 12-10-2016, 04:52 PM As some here know, my daughter has become an accomplished artist. While working as a flight attendant pays the bills, she still has time to pursue her art. I have been "suggesting" she do some fish for years. While not quite what I was thinking of, this is a very recent commission she completed for a child's room.

albythereforyou 12-16-2016, 07:24 AM Matt Dangler meets Miyazaki's Howls Moving Castle?
Looks awesome. She should have it professionally scanned and makes some Giclee prints of it, you never know what could trigger a whole new career...Life's too short to not follow what you were meant to do...
As an artist my bank account will always be poor, but my life will always be rich...

nightfighter 12-16-2016, 06:36 PM This was for the cover art for a Coldplay album, for which she was a finalist.
nightfighter 12-16-2016, 06:39 PM This was gift for family friends after she had vacationed at their house, which is the subject of the piece
nightfighter 12-16-2016, 06:43 PM This is a huge piece she did about four years ago which won a number of awards, including a best of show at the Marblehead Festival of Art.

I was gonna ask about her background, as that coldplay album thing isn't my cup of tea, (i hate photoshop "art") but....
her illustrations are beautiful. scan / photograph em and get some limited edition prints made!
