Defense and special teams dropped a few but played big for a while too. Can this team do it? I have had a lot of doubts - last night might lessen some of the doubts.

Very good game except for those fumbles and Hocculi slowing down the game.
we will see how they do with a shorter week next game in that mile high place
Brady is the best

Need to get that cloning program going, we could use a few more Julian's so we have someone with hands and balls to catch punts and kick offs. Should have been a blow out if not for those couple bad special teams plays, which sort of offset some really good ones beforehand.

I liked seeing Brady getting riled early on, showing the team that he was not pleased, with himself as well as the plays.
Then he buckled down and started doing what he does best...marching the team down the field!

Some of those passes had the announcing team singing their praise to Brady and his health and fitness routines. I thought they wanted to ask him out on a date

Blount ran like a mack truck, only getting stopped a couple of times,
Receivers that should have caught passes dropped them, and others that weren't primary receivers caught TD passes?

This team has really shown that they do not rely on just one person to do the scoring...they ALL take part, and that makes it fun to watch!

McClellen's leap over the ravens and field goal Block

That was fun to watch...an eye-brow raiser for sure.

I still don't think they're playing to their full potential though...still winning games, but can still do better. With injuries and adjustments made, I'm definitely happy they're still gettin' er' done ...

Still comes down to "any given Sunday" -

Don't know that I would use the Ravens as a measure. Maybe Pittsburg in the AFC. Dallas or Packers in the NFC.....(Gmen 2-0 against the Boys bye the bye).

That was a 2 fer for uncle Bill... he got to stick it to the Ravens and Harbaugh and to Jamie Collins ....

this game showed their potential... sunday afternoon will be a big test... Denver is a house of horrors for the Pats and Brady... Denver is fighting for their playoff lives...the'll have to earn that one.. with NO mistakes.

Hocculi drives me nuts. It always seems that he screws that Pats when he gets the chance. Maybe it's just me. I didn't know he was a lawyer as a full time job It explains his wordy explanations of penalties.

They already beat the Steelers ( I don't care about Rottenburger.. as good as he is.. it wouldn't have made a difference).. and so did the Ravens...the Ravens are one of the few teams to come into Gillette and win... Packers ..Really.. not unless Arron Rogers can still be a running threat... cowboys have been trending downward.. I'm not sold on them.. their owner will find a way to micro manage them out of contention ...g men do scare me...they are like the proverbial cat with 9 lives... sea hawks are still pretty damn good...last weeks gaff no withstanding.

Ravens came into the Razor leading in every defensive category.. fresh off a thrashing of the dolphins... had it not been for a few preventable mistakes... it would have been over for them in the 3rd quarter... K.C. and Oakland still are strong contenders... any given Sunday.

They Hung 30 on the no.1 defense in the league....I call that a good measure.

Don't hear the term "Forward Progress" used a lot during a QB sack.

The talk radio guys were going nuts saying the Muscle Head Hocoli added that "forward progress" bit in order to nullify a challenge - forward progress is not reviewable . . . .

Yep
that was a cover their ass explanation they came up with when they got together.

I have never heard "forward progress" on a QB backing up, especially while being strip-sacked :bsod: hosed by Hochuli again

Mile high curse is behind us and the D is looking like they are ready for the playoffs. Now if they can just clinch home field throughout, I can see another super bowl appearance in our future.

I hope so. I've had a lot of reservations on this team this season because they don't have a really tough schedule but they are beating most of the tougher teams they face.

They lost to the Bills GM4 (b4 Brady) and the Seahawks in WK10

I am concerned that the offense has broken past 30 points in the second half of the season, where they had 4 times in the first half of season (including one of the b4 Brady return).

I am encouraged that this mediocre defense has for the most part kept opponents below 20 PPG

Yeah, it definitely looked like a classic "defensive battle".

There were a number of close games yesterday, some with the "underdogs" coming out on top.
