I saw Toonock a few months ago. He's doing well and is not fishing as much as he used to but looked to be healthy and happy.

I see Doc pretty much on a regular basis, as he has a lot of best friends that have him on their boats.... he is a livelining slut these days.

He who cannot be named is doing fine. He does not fish anymore but he does play drums in a local band and is happy with that.

He was the best striper fisherman I ever fished with. Guy would get in a zone like no one I ever knew. Problem was he was crazy and didn't care about anything but striper fishing and it affected all other facets of his life. Neglected his wife and daughter and it just didn't end well.
I keep in close contact with his wife and daughter and they are much better off without him in their lives.

RHM, that's a good one...so to speak

The #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& and I had some spirited debates, he might have been a great fisherman, but in his world there was no room or use for methods other than his time tested way of doing things. He was clearly a his way or you haven't a clue kind of guy.

I'm not sure RHM was ever a regular poster on here, but he's off the grid. Still fishes every morning during the season. He had his little blunder, but that was like 10 years ago. Always been nice to me, very forthcoming with info. I run into him every fall for a 2 week stretch. Very generous with his plugs, gave my buddy a couple the last time we saw him. Mike's a good guy...

Tynan and Starfish are probably traversing the Presidential Range with their boys right now. An impressive family for sure. My go-to source for anything hiking related lol

I've seen some of tynans' photo work on a maine flyfishing site- very talented. casey, kasey and family are super nice people always liked seeing them at shows.

kinda miss BACK BEACH. Fished Nauset with him when he was still in high school.
He would leave school Fri afternoon and fish his way to Nauset then maybe to Provincetown ,then work his way back, stop at my house with leftover sandeels.
He never checked out our five daughters. wink. fish the canal on the way home.
Ask him about the smell in school Monday Add to dictionary the kid liked to fish.miss him

I miss fishing with him as well. He, along with T.O. taught me a lot and we had some good fishing. But Mike is a great family man and is doing really well with the country club, and for that I have a ton of respect for him. He's more into music than anything these days, probably have better luck seeing him at a Phish show. Definitely one of the best anglers I've ever fished with, though.
