I have two salties kits that I purchasesed at RISSA last year. If you look at his instructions he has a from that the plug should be cut to my question is can you use a band saw for it. Hey Charlie, i would use a band or table top hobby scroll saw. just be careful not to remove to much so you can carve out the final shape. good luck.
