So i just got a well drilled and looks like i will need a filter system to make it more palatable. It has slightly elevated manganese and iron levels with a bit of an odor. Anyone use an under sink filter system? I see they are inexpensive, a few around 2-300 bucks. Not sure how well they work. I don't want to get a big system since i have no room and will be rebuilding in a couple years. Thanks guys

I have the 3 stage Aquasana and it works for me. 200 bucks is reasonable. We also have a large blue while house sediment filter that helps with the towns well water that goes through old pipes on its way here.

Bruce, what do you have the filter for? Was it iron/taste?

Lots of manganese in our water and too much chlorine for me. Got tired of paying for Poland springs
