Building myself a new swimbait rod, but using a lami for the blank

Will be a conventional set up, either with the new tranx 300 or Calcutta conquest 300

Went with a 1081M, cut a 1' off the butt to make an 8' rod rated 1-4oz

BMNAG fuji guides, fuji exposed reel seat, camo full length butt grip, some decorative trim bands, camo 3" foregrip, green and black wraps

Rod will be used for soft baits to 3oz and jointed wood swimmers like the ms slammer/pats but my versions

Can you tell me if you've been having trouble with mud holes site or am I the only one?
Been trying for at least a week now " sorry site builder is down " blah blah blah

I was just on the site with an order and it went ok. Maybe you should try another browser and see if that works

I use that blank in GLB version. The foot off the butt should slow the blank down and help load the swimbaits.
