Weather is looking good up to this weekend. Might be the weekend to start prepping. I just dont want to jump the gun and shovel snow out of my boat. What you guys thinking?

mines un wrapped at the shop getting my side scan FF put on Trim tabs next and some Led deck lights .. then I'll be set

Getting itchy too... last project for the winter is an acrylic "doghouse". Basically, making curtains out of clear acrylic. I have curtains, that are almost brand new... HATE the view out of the vinyl. Everything looks like I'm on acid...

The older I get (going to be 70 in Oct) the less I like being cold. I don't mind the heat at all but my arthritic joints hurt in the cold.

Paul, don't do the polyglo...... As I understand it, polyglo breaks down just like a poly or varnish. Looks great initially but is a real PITA to strip after the UV has its way with it.

and I faithfully use this stuff 3 or 4 times a season, so far so good ! :-)

First, the hull needs to be warm. I've read 55 degrees and 70 degrees.

2, you need to use the PolyPrep to take off the old wax and dirt. Otherwise you just end up with shiny dirt.

3, the big trick is more than one coat. I did 3 and it was beautiful. I know guys who have done 8! Unlike wax, PolyGlo fills in the minute scratches in the gel coat.

If you Google PolyGlo there are a number of sites that talk about the application and specifically the sagging problem.
