I am looking for a gallon of shark white (actually its light gray)
ablative bottom paint... I'm not picky on brand, just need light gray bottom paint for a boat that is on a mooring for july/august.

the cheapest i can find is west marine for 230$

Anyone know any better deals ?

I've been using Peitit Vivid white for about 6 years now.......has worked out well. I was using an Interlux gray which was fine for growth, but anything about the waterline turned green from oxidation. That being said, NONE of it is cheap...ha (sort of a side note, i know)

Try to find someone with a higher level port supply account. That should save a bit of money over west marine list.

is there a difference between anti-fouling and ablative?

Ivanputski ablative rubs off in time like chalk antifouling chips and peels leaving a crapy bottom surface. go with the ablative.

cape fisherman supply100 bucks but not the same color.
