2 years ahead of schedule......
We Paid off our Mortgage 100%.

When i walk the acres of the farm (homestead)
I have a whole different feeling now.

in about 4 to 6 weeks (processing)
i'll proudly walk into the town hall
and request our Deed.:shocked:

We're about 2yrs ahead of schedule ourselves.We'll be all set at the end of 2018,just in time for my 50th bday.

Congrats. We paid ours off in 2008 and it makes a huge difference when you are retired and don't have a mortgage payment

That ranks up in the "lifetime accomplishment" scale with graduating college, getting the job you wanted and first born child!
(Although not always in that order)

I'd say that calls for a party, but knowing this crowd, and the resulting damages and legal fees, it might put you back in debt again :laughs:

Preferably with some prime shore front access and hoity-toity neighbors that you can flip off when they complain about all of your "friends" that show up to fish at all hours of the day and night!


Or you could just turn it into the "Piping Plover Rescue Ranch Café" and tell everyone that asks that all you serve is "chicken of the sea".
