I am in the market for a clam rake.
I am a novice digger and typically have only used my hands, so I have no idea what is good.
I intend to use the thing in sand/mud but if there is an all round model that people like...I sort of like the idea of it.
I was looking at this company, but not sure what model to get.

Any and all input appreciated.
I have a bunch of different kinds of rakes I've picked up over the years. I can't remember if it's the same name brand but clamming.com has a stainless steel basked rake that is very to the one I like best. I had bought it at Quonny B&T 6 or 7 years ago.

Can you shoot a pic of it?
I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

It's at the house in RI. I might get down there this weekend and if so I'll send you a pic and the manufacturers information if it's shown on the rake. It looks a lot like this one.

in connect-tick-cut.
Orig from MA, and will be up on the Cape this weekend. It seems like there are several places on the cape that sell the Ribb rakes.
I ended up emailing Maggie Ribb she gave me some leads on joints
that have the best selection. I decide that would like to support her
business. I will probably aim for a design similar to the one J
pictured there.

Right on guppy. That's is a nice offer. I think I will just pick one up though as having one will motivate me to dig for them more often.
I will be out in Chatham from Sat night thru Wednesday night. If you surfcast and want to fish a tide...let me know.
