Having a hard time getting my old brain cells around the currents..
West end ( gray gables ) low at 4:00 AM, east end low at 8:00 AM
If I head through east to west 6 ish I'll be with it most the way, yes?

that would put you around slack tide in the canal at 6

pay more attention to current direction than high or low when taking tides in the canal.

you must ride into gray gables to fish. No parking in that whole neighborhood.

Bruce, The wife says my mind is not "with it" :-)
I ment steaming west I'd be "with" the current, but now I " see the light " , slack is good, better than fighting it for sure.
Planning on grabing some macs east end and running them to the Buz bay...
Pretty neat body of water it's the largest sea level canal in the world.

Ya Slip, current is the key not the high and low. There's a 2+ or - hour lag between the 2.

Worked out perfect this morn,,,
Macd up east end, ran through pretty much slac, landed on a pile of small keepers west end,, BSB EVERYWHERE,,,
Ran back thru around noon "with it" :-)
Couldn't scare up a tog no how...
