Taking my 10 year-old out of Metapoisett to go for black sea bass soon, want to stay over the night before nearby, rather than hit the road at 3:30 AM. Coming from the west.

Can anyone recommend a clean, safe, reasonably priced hotel or motel nearby? There's one very close called the Hillside Motel, but the reviews I saw made it sound actually unsafe.

Hampton Inn in Fairhaven. Town Place Suites by Marriott in Wareham

I'd also have no problem stating at the Fairfield Inn in New BedfoRD. It's downtown right on the waterfront.

Hillside is a no-go.
