Wife hasn't gotten her refund check yet.... She has called on phone, all automated, says it is in process. WTF it is the middle of July and she filed in February! And do you think you can get a live 98.6 person on the line?????? no....

I just let them keep it and adjust future payment as required......

I owed the state this year ($15.00) and they cashed my check last month.

From what I've heard, the state was doing a lot of "auditing" of returns (my 85 y/o. mom got audited), so that could account for the delay.

Had the same thing happen with my return from VT this year. 5 months

We were audited, had to send in four different pieces of i formation. Receiced the check a few weekks afterward. Did our taxes in March.

The state somehow was missing the form that shows what was paid to Conn. so they were saying she owed them taxes and penalties. Sent in amendment with the missing form via registered mail. We shall see how this plays out.

She got her check last week.
