Just got this in the 'ole electronic mail:

To All,
There will be a trash/litter pick-up and fishing get together at Brenton Point Park today from 3pm to dusk(show up anytime, the gathering will be east of the monument). This cleanup is being promoted by the Salt Water Edge shop along with noted author Ken Abrahms who has posted it on his Stripermoon website(see attachment). Bring a trash bag and help keep our fishing areas clean. Bring your gear - the blues and bass were out there yesterday (Monday)!

Dennis Z. here are details from Ken Abrahms' site: http://www.stripermoon.com/talkshop35/messages/1906.html

I'm studying for some "thing :rollem: " for tomorrow so I'm not sure if I'll be there tonight - 50 / 50 chance for me....

Clean-up went well last evening. Approximately 15-20 fishermen showed up. We ended up with quite a pile of trash bags and washed up lobster pots by cleaning up the immediate area of Brenton Point Park. It was very interesting that when picking up the litter (while carrying my fishing rod) in full view of the many tourists and visiting fishermen and I received many favorable comments. This is good PR. We need to do this regularly. Thanks to all who participated.

By the way - no fish last night.
