Do any of you guys have any experience with tica reels, especially the sceptor. Im planning on puttin this on a 9'spinfisher big game surf.

Can't speak to their reels, but they make an excellent rod.

i bought a ntica team 5188 conventional this year and i love it as far as there spinning reels go we had a bunch we had returned to the shop because the bail was higher than the spool and after you lost so much line it would rap around the baill when you tried to cast and snap your line every time we stoped selling them and went over to okumas there were no problems with there piecies bait caster its there answer to the penn international:confused:

I hear the rods are OK for the price, tho.
