Hey Everybody,
We should be thinking about booking a date for the TFCTFN. Vic usually gets us in just under the wire. I’m easy and think I can go any Saturday.

I’m also gonna go ice fishing next weekend, if anybody wants to come with.

I am OUT this year guys. I will be South until April.

2018 TFCTFN might be tough this year - I am projected to be slammed this winter through spring for work. Unsure if I can pull it off - open to discussion options

My work requirements have shifted a bit and are not as flexible as previous years

If we can’t do a full event maybe we can organize something here with some raffles/fundraising goin to the site?

I have some plugs and gear to donate

Sure we could get something going on here, classifieds or on the main page

I will be checking in periodically. I will donate 3 Block Island large needlefish that I turn. Neon Green unless you want another color.
Who ever wins will have to wait till the end of April to receive them. I'll work up a voucher/cert for the raffle table.

I am of a different opinion on this one. If I am reading the boss's post correctly, he is saying he can't do it this year.... So if there is interest in doing Plugfest, why not combine efforts and do one event and do it well?.... It could incorporate a raffle as well to help with the site. JMHO

To remove some confusion - I just won't have the time to arrange things, prep, prizes. etc. I am just flat out. I love TFCTF but just don't have the freespace to run with it. Unless we hit powerball, then we meet at TFGreen and charter a plane to Key West for the night ; )

That's yousin your noggin, Bourne is a great hall for such , the distance will be a problem for a lot of guys but at least it will be day time driving... Great kitchen also

Drive is the same for me to Bourne. I’m happy to change it up. I’m sure however we run it, it will be a good time.

Work is now a second class dumpster fire and it is getting worse. It will be worse in the coming months.

I just need to know where I'm bringing the empanadas and hot sauce :)

The 24th is available at the club in Bourne and I will speak to the person in charge of rental Monday evening hopefully. I can ask her if we can have the plugfest in the morning and go into the afternoon with the too cold to fish night/afternoon. I can ask to have a bartender for the after part of the day.

Does that sound good?

we can have a huge raffle table as always
we can have a potluck dinner as usual as there is a kitchen downstairs
