I'm playing golf in Venice FL and the day started pretty cool, watching a bald eagle fishing (not successfully I might add) in the pond in front of the driving range. Love the cranes everywhere on this course, but then we get to the 18th tee box and a group just left and we have time to kill. We are standing around and out of the marsh to the right comes a large hare running for it's life, because there is a bobcat right behind it. They zig-zag right in front of us and the hare goes across to the only cover it thinks will hide it, a sparse planting between us and the pond and the cat was right on it's tail. It nails the hare literally 20 feet from us in a sparse planting and we watch for a couple minutes while it subdues the hare and determines we aren't a threat. Then back across the teeing area's and home with dinner for the family, just an amazing thing to see unfold right in front of you. We thought rolling golf balls across the back of the 6 foot alligator sitting to our left by the pond was amusing and then netgeowild unfolds right in front of us.
