Making America alone again
There are 195 nations in the world today and we are abdicating our position as a leader
Others will gladly fill that vacuum

In the Atlantic or the New York Times is where you got this fable I would assume. More fake news for you. Please name the countries lining up to fill our alleged leadership vacuum.

We have been abdicating since early in the last administration. First as a tentative but flowery nice nice abdication, now as a mercurial & occasionally acidic and unreliable partner.

Short version is we are not reliable. Our policy swings between political bends increase, our stability decreases, our financial stability is in wane, and our politicians spend far too much.

Our overseas partners often base their security on our blood, sweat, and greenbacks. Others like China are ramping up to take us out of the tops spot while we rearrange the deck chairs.

China is going to dominate down the road with forward long term planning and we will be scratching our political heads asking how did that happen.
