That's 100% true. I voted for Trump, I had his sign on my lawn. And I like most, not all, of what he has done. When he starts slaughtering people based on religion, I will object louder than you will.

You left out, predictably, any mention of the American economy, black unemployment, etc...When you focus on the bad things he's done (and there is no shortage) and pretend the good stuff never happened, he looks pretty bad. But that's not how we judge people, we judge them on everything, not just the good, not just the bad. after the 2008 election, the gop had gotten absolutely creamed, was a joke, was in tatters. they didn’t self destruct, they didn’t make the case that the way out of the economic mess was more subprime mortgages. but that’s what the dems are doing, focusing on weirder and weirder social messages instead of emphasizing their sensible, populist ideas, of which they don’t actually have many, but they do have some. but it gets lost in the rioting and the shrieking and the claims that everything is racist and we’re all going to die. that’s not what middle america wants to hear right now. they don’t want to hear trumps arrogant tweets either, but going with those tweets, are tax cuts that people are already used to.

Certainly far less then the amount of of stories I read of racist Republicans and I don't even look for them. As I've said before when we have discussed this numerous times you need to run for a state position. You can tell blacks how stupid they are to overwhelmingly support Dems. bc the Repubs are really looking out for them when they cut services that hurt seem to hurt a higher % of blacks.

no republicans are cutting services here in CT, they don’t control anything. last year, because the dems ( who control everything) couldn’t pass a budget, 26 non profits were shut down, it was widely reported in the Courant. what a fine example of democrats looking out for those most in need.
