Or has this board become juvenile in the name calling and insults, come on guys we complain about the lack of civility in government and we are guilty of the same disrespectful behavior on this board.

I suspect we wouldn't talk to our neighbors like this, or they soon would be putting up a ten foot high fence. Social media makes it easy to say things you wouldn't say in person, as evidenced the the disturbing cases of cyber bullying in school age kids, so let's take a higher road. It's good to have a civil debate about government, it makes us all think and hopefully choose our next votes more carefully, we can set a better example in our daily lives and on this board.

Thank you and I now return you to the scheduled programming.

Some people are so unintelligent they can't say anything worthwhile so they just comment on other people's posts

Exhibit A

Exhibit b. Maybe you should go back to commenting on people's typos. That's a new low for this forum.

I don't know, GS posts about people being civil to one another, and the first thing you post is an insult. That might be the "New Low" of which you seek.

Almost ironic, when you put it that way.

GS, it's not just you. I will aim for more civility.

No I still think your posts about people typos cause this forum to reach a new low. Oops I missed the D wonder if you're going to comment on that. You're a moderator why allow someone to constantly post things that don't add anything to the forum? I could see if he tried in 50% of his post to add something. But there is never any attempt.

Moderate THIS forum, I'd have better luck building an airplane out of jello.

We allow people to talk even if they make a fool of themselves, very little is censored, probably to a fault. You want to talk dumb sheit like Alex Jones, you can to a point, but expect to be called out on it.

Having said that, Twitter, Facebook, and other Social Media sites are not evenly censoring / throttling speech.

Personally I think the open debate is worth it, even with some bruised feelings as a result.

It won't. This is going to happen WHENEVER a R is POTUS. Maybe not this bad, but every time whether deserved or not. Unless a strong independent/moderate from either side comes along and can unite us, the Progressives are going to move left and the right will dig in. I hope it is not too late but I think we missed our chance.

Quite the opposite me thinks. The current divide sets things up very nicely for an independent to run right down the middle and win. Especially if it is something like Warren v Trump, with Bloomberg as an independent. Might not be the case if President Pence is running for re-election though. I'm just sayin'.

So, none of those would be anywhere near my first choice, but since you are always mr. positive, name a candidate you would support for potus. Not hold your nose for, but actually support

If I’m not mistaken the last election garnered the most votes for a libertarian candidate.

And the voters and the candidate, were stoned

(and Bill was drunk)
