We never had Netflix until we finally got sick of commercials and we have been bing watching House of Cards. Now this might be a stretch, but knowing how much Trump loves his TV time, I can’t help thinking much of his narrative and plans he pulled right off Frank Underwood’s playbook. The congressman’s and future VPs hatred of fake news, hard line on China and willingness to enter a trade war are errily similar and a match in so many ways, I have to think that show was on his must see list back when it aired.

Ummm, not all Politicians had Obama's aversion to adversity WRT Foreign Policy.

I am not convinced trade war was the appropriate thing to do nor a bad call. But a hard line with China is way over due. They have been building up with the sole purpose of countering the USA and it needs to be addressed. They are not a benevolent government.
