Working this weekend and Company outing (spare me now)

So what's up for the weekend?

Muzzleloader deer season, I would prefer it not rain hard on Sunday.

try for one single december bass so I can put the gear away and get on
with my off season projects

Boys weekend! Mom is in Maine so the boy and I are acting like bachelors (kind of). Take out tonight and watched the Celtics. Deer hunting all day Sat. and cleaning up before she gets home on Sunday, followed by the Pats.

Cleaning the in laws gutters and dropping a couple dead hemlocks. Having a birthday/retirement party for a couple neighbors at a local dive tonight. No kid in the house for the first time in a couple months.

You will have a good time, Paul. Hopefully you will have some instruction. Get comfortable with stance and swinging barrel in an arc. Then you must think LEAD, not follow.....

I did get much better once I stopped trying to aim and tried to lead the target. Weather was perfect and it was a great day

Yup. It is all about feeling the lead and not aiming per say. Hard yo shoot a 25. Only did it once and shoot quite a bit. Lots of 23’s. Station 2 and 6 are the tough ones.

Yup. My father would kick azz with his old Parker, regularly shooting 24 with an occasional 25. I would go with him as a teenager and was always amazed how a 24 wouldn't get him aggravated, as I would have gone crazy.... Something to do with the Greatest Generation. They knew what the important stuff was.

Weekend plan update***. tried for a December bass... realized my waders have a leak, by feet froze, had 2 tiny "hits" and got skunked. Good conversation though... Solo late season isn't as appealing... need a friend to stay motivated

I got to start shooting again. I bought a Charles Daly, pigeon grade, O/U bored Skeet and Skeet, 3 years ago and have never fired it.
Absolutely beautiful gun.
