Back when I was young and a crazy surfcaster, March 15 or so was when the first schoolies would show up either at the West Wall or the Pawcatuck. Anyone, trying or hearing anything?

Got Stripers 03-18-2019, 02:10 PM Years back and Clammer knows where, I'd have already been out multiple times and hammering the holdovers, with a fair number of teens and twenty keepers once the shallows warmed a bit. It wasn't uncommon to have 100 fish days and you quit when you got tired, but those days are long gone unfortunately. I might wander down to that spot in a couple weeks to see if anything held over, but at almost 66 I don't have the enthusiasm I used to. Guppy 03-18-2019, 04:23 PM Too soon for up here me thinks.... Years back Id much rather be out on the water come spring, now Id rather be golfing.
