Love that sound! tlapinski 04-01-2019, 01:19 PM I first noticed them last Wednesday night along the cost in Connecticut. Stood in the front yard with my wife & son for about 5 minutes just after sunset listening to them sing away! nightfighter 04-01-2019, 02:46 PM If I recall correctly, the peepers were a signal that the herring runs were likely starting to get busy, and the first dandelions were a sign to look for the first scouts/schoolies…. I think MikeP told me that. MikeD 04-01-2019, 09:30 PM Peepers are peepin' up by me. (kingston, ma). Lilacs are the the real signal that its time to start casting. I love this thread though, makes me want to get yard work done!! Rockfish9 04-02-2019, 06:18 AM Haven't heard peepers yet, but every morning turkeys are gobbling up a storm.
