On an average year I start getting fresh fish in my parts of the CT river around the first week of May. Last year it started for me a little late. If the water levels allow me to access the shore, I believe I will be getting them the last week of April this year. I have a very simple formula that I have used for years to predict when I will get them. wdmso 04-02-2019, 08:54 AM ospreys have showed up in force :cheers2: Rappin Mikey 04-12-2019, 01:05 PM Bump: Read some of OTW weekly fishing reports. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device bart 04-18-2019, 12:39 PM Nice fish, Bart! Sorry for your loss. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Thanks man! Don’t want to derail the thread, but mentioned my Aunt because so many things came together that day for me to catch that fish, and fishing is what she’d want me to do so I truly believe she was with me. I’ve been hunting that early season unicorn for many years and it just so happened that it came that night. Can’t make this stuff up. Hope everyone has a good start to the season.
