I thought I would share my saltwater fly adaptor for my woodworking bench....hahahahhahaha.

Its called a C-clamp in the end vise.

been working on some dressed siwash and flags. Sometimes I have
thought about buying a real vise, but I dont see the point. I have one
for tying trout flies....seems like a waste to buy one for just a few
saltwater hooks each season.

One other thing I have been doing is recycling my trebles...the rusties.
I use them for the base of my dressed flags.... Gives them a second
life....hanging off the tail end of my plugs.

Cut all the hooks off accept the welded hook. This orients the flat eye
up and you put the welded hook in the vise.

the flat sides make it easy to add in the bucktail.

There is a little extra weight in these as there are three wires from
the trebles instead of one. I figure it works to ballance out the plug if it
supposed to have a regular hook off the back. Use the untrimmed
hook to hang the flag until the epoxy dries...then trim it off.

Sometimes, I do leave all the wire on the trebles...but straighten
them out so the there is no hook bend...just a stack of wire. If
balance is a concern...this will not sacrifice weight.
