Does this day go down in history? spence 05-29-2019, 05:44 PM I think it’s even more inevitable now. Pelosi has been slow walking this for the obvious reasons but Mueller was pretty clear today in setting the record straight with what Barr has spun. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Got Stripers 05-29-2019, 06:46 PM Barr should go too, two bad apples for sure, send Trump back to NY so he can have some more legal fun, Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Jim in CT 05-29-2019, 07:18 PM Barr should go too, two bad apples for sure, send Trump back to NY so he can have some more legal fun, Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Mueller said he was ok with the way Barr handled the report. did he not? impeachment more likely. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Got Stripers 05-29-2019, 07:20 PM Mueller wouldn’t have spoken out today if he was ok with Barr’s spin of the report. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Jim in CT 05-29-2019, 07:38 PM he said today he feels barr acted in good faith. Muellers intent today seems to be to nudge congress towards impeachment. he likely succeeded. I’d agree with that. the national democrat party is absolutely unrecognizable compared to where it was 20 years ago. Bill Clinton could never get the nomination today, he’s waaaaay to moderate. I agree that very few voters want radicals. i don’t agree that at the national level, the GOP is anywhere near as radical as the democrats. the abortion law in AL is out there. but by and large, the leaders of the GOP are waaaaay more moderate than Pelosi, Schumer, and the gaggle of freaks running for potus, except for Biden. and an impressive congresswoman from Hawaii who isn’t going anywhere. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device This didn’t happen, even CNN is admitting it didn’t happen, Trump played zero role. the media will say or do anything to make him look bad. Can’t we just stick to facts? Arent there enough truthful moral lapses to criticize him for? You need to take everything they say, with a grain of salt. Everything. They are not capable or reporting accurately on Trump, they are literally incapable of doing it. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device PaulS 05-31-2019, 07:08 AM The fact was that someone in Trump's admin. know that the baby in chief wouldn't want to see the ship or even the badge of a sailor w/the name on it. He again mocked a deceased American (hero) even after duck ing out on military service. How is this not bad? Why bring up CNN when WSJ broke the story? i don’t know that we know why it was moved, or who requested it. what we know is that the WSJ said trump had it moved, and we know he didn’t. I mention CNN because they have also been known to lie to attack trump, but they are reporting that this story was fabricated by a wsj reporter who has a well documented history of blatantly dishonest reporting to smear Trump. Add the wsj to the list of media outlets that can’t be trusted. i honestly don’t know who’s left? Fox has Sean Hannity who is a dishonest clown, and from where i sit, almost everyone else is the mirror image of him. that wasn’t a critique of you Paul, not at all, you know i think you’re mostly fair and honest. that was a critique of the media, all of whom have abandoned any journalistic integrity they had remaining after the obama years, in an attempt to take down the guy who humiliated them all. they can’t be trusted any more than sean hannity can be trusted. i know of one person in prime time who regularly criticized his own side when they deserve it, and regularly praises the other side when hey deserve it - Tucker Carlson. Who else routinely praises and criticizes both sides? obama once gave a speech at notre dame, and some catholic items behind obama were covered with a tarp during the speech. You’re right i was offended by that. I’d also be offended if trump had that ship moved or had a tarp put on the name. we don’t know that trump did that. i’m not a glaring hypocrite, i am disgusted by how small and petty and vindictive trump is. but his policies are working wonderfully, and that’s far more important than his bedside manner. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device Got Stripers 05-31-2019, 07:30 AM Even if Trump didn't direct that action to hide the name, it's pretty sad that our military is playing partisan politics, because we have a thin skinned commander and chief who has no respect for those that have served if they aren't playing his game. "it's pretty sad that our military is playing partisan politics" if that's what happened, I agree with you. Do we know for sure what happened? All I know, is that a WSJ reporter got caught lying. "we have a thin skinned commander and chief who has no respect for those that have served " Trump spoke at the Air Force academy graduation this week, and shook hands with 1,000 graduating students. If you took a poll of the entire US military and asked them who respects them more, Trump or Obama...do you really have any doubt what the results would be? Obama is a plutocrat who is more comfortable with the swells. Trump isn't that. Trump is a lot of bad things, but what he's not, is an elitist. Again, is a speck of honesty too much to ask? Jim in CT 05-31-2019, 07:54 AM Yes, no complaints about how our Pres. has attempted to politicize the military. Here you go...it's disgusting when Trump tries to politicize the US military. OK? And trumps refusal to let go of his feud with McCain, is pathetic. i think trump is a million times better as a politician than mccain ever was in terms if enacting policy that helps people, but mccain was the better man by far. we elected trump to improve our lives, not to be a role model for how to behave. wdmso 05-31-2019, 03:54 PM Here you go...it's disgusting when Trump tries to politicize the US military.
