I'll be presenting a striped bass fishing seminar and round table Friday 6/21 from 4 pm until closing at 9, ay West marine in Woburn Mass.I'll be having discussions on all types of bass fishing with the main focus on night time eeling but will cover surf and day time fishing as well, I plan on doing live demonstrations of rigging eels and trolling baits as well as fishing soft plastics, it should be fun and interactive, the last time I presented they shut the lights off on us..so if your near bye stop in say hi ,it's free to the public, and I just might raffle off a custom plug or two (made by me)

Any members, friends, and especially younger folks should definitely take advantage of Rockfish's extensive knowledge at this event and pay him a visit. Nice to see someone like him with his extensive experience so willing to share with everyone here and at Woburn.

Long ride for me... I do the seminar for these guys because I've known the managers for over a decade, it's 15 minutes from my house. 5 minutes from work,it's a good way to give back and teach the youth and people new to fishing how to enjoy the sport and give themselves the best opertunity for success.
I had an un expected visitor, a woman from the Mass. Dept. Of conservation who was promoting striped bass conservation and distributed flyers on the new and up coming regulations and striped bass license plate campaign ..she took alot of notes, and vidio, because I had insight and experience going back to the early 70s she said she got alot of insight on present day state of the fishery and one man's experience and opinion to aid in their studies. .nice lady, but she had too many questions and I had my sights on a Mai Ti. And a,Hawaii roll.

This is the kind of social networking that deserves much :claps::claps::claps:....not the boolchit on FB, or twotter, and the likes.
Good for you Rock!...and this is why some people earn respect while others will never understand respect, never mind earn it.
