Good Evening,
Not quite on "my" boat but never the less from a boat. We were waiting for a ship at the Homeport in NY Harbor last night. Whenever I get the time I'll fish. This guy hit right off the corner in the current and it was a real surprise. Didn't even catch it , it was a snag you can see the hook in front of the pectoral fin.

They do pop up on occasion here, MV, Cape, and Nantucket

I've caught them off of Montauk at this time of year.
