wdmso 10-04-2019, 11:30 AM Claim: US President Donald Trump and other Republicans say the rules for complaints made by whistleblowers were changed shortly before an anonymous whistleblower raised concerns about the president's phone call with the leader of Ukraine.
Verdict: The regulations governing whistleblower complaints have not changed. The wording of the form that whistleblowers use to raise concerns was already under review, and was changed after the whistleblower made the complaint about President Trump's phone call.
And how that changes anything i have no idea

I’d bet my savings the house will impeach, that the spineless senators will not hold him accountable, although a few in tight re-election districts might and we will have to live thru one the most nasty campaigns anyone has or will likely ever see again.
Very disturbing our president and the GOP are ok with extorting a foreign power to gain an advantage over a political rival and that he would further reach out to our biggest global threat in China to do the same. If you don’t think Trump getting into a situation where he owes Ukraine, China or Russia a favor puts our national security at risk your a fool. No need to respond, I get it, I know the narrative, the whataboutism campaign by Trump is the new rallying cry echoed in here.

I’d bet my savings the house will impeach,
The whole impeachment thing does resemble a crapshoot. Put your money on where the numbers fall.
that the spineless senators will not hold him accountable, although a few in tight re-election districts might
Wow . . . it's spineless to hold on to your convictions in the face of a constant media barrage . . .
and we will have to live thru one the most nasty campaigns anyone has or will likely ever see again.
And, of course, only one side will be nasty. Right.
Very disturbing our president and the GOP are ok with extorting
It's amazing that anyone would think that extortion in our political world is disturbing. It goes on all the time. ALL the time. Heck, pols even have to extort the public for votes, in one of the many ways, by promising the voters stuff we can't even afford, and which they shouldn't even if we could.
Oh well . . . I guess it's just a matter of how we extort, er, distort, language. In one instance call something extortion, in another calling it just politics . . . oh wait . . . they are kind of the same thing.
I suppose we could call all foreign agreements extortion in the end. So I would think that "extorting" a foreign power to help clear up corruption would be a good thing.
a foreign power to gain an advantage over a political rival
I don't think Trump thinks he needs help beating Biden, nor any other of the Dem candidates. I think he is justifiably pissed off at the corrupt attempt to bring him down from the very beginning of his presidency, even before he had a chance to make any policy or "extort" a foreign power. I think he justifiably believes that what was attempted to do to him strongly indicates that there is a corrupt, politically driven agenda in the chasms of our political system and those running it. And whether out of vengeance, or presidential duty, or both, he feels that embedded corruption must be exposed and eradicated. And a lot of us feel the same way. That's why there are the Horowitz, and Durham, and DOJ investigations going on now. And what you call "extortion" is a request to get help in those investigations from foreign powers who may have direct evidence of that corruption. And he has the legitimate power to do so, whatever negative label you wish to attach to it.
and that he would further reach out to our biggest global threat in China to do the same.
This is laughable. He is doing to China what no other President has come close to doing. China has become our biggest global threat because our past administrations stood aside and let it happen, before our eyes. It raped us and is expanding that rape globally. And we let it happen.
So now we're concerned about its threat?!! And Trump is the only one actually trying to do something about it at this 11th hour?
Trump is legally asking for assistance in corruption investigations in which China has related information. It is obligated by agreement to provide that help.
Of course, China does not live up to agreements or obligations. So it may well not cooperate and just wait it out hoping Trump will not get re-elected so the tariff stuff will go away and it can get back to its unimpeded march to global dominance.
Or maybe China thinks it's being "extorted," So it may cooperate in hopes that it will help to abate the trade war.
If you don’t think Trump getting into a situation where he owes Ukraine, China or Russia a favor puts our national security at risk your a fool. No need to respond, I get it, I know the narrative, the whataboutism campaign by Trump is the new rallying cry echoed in here.
I don't think he "owes" those countries anything. Nor that asking them to do what they are legally obligated to do will put him in a position to owe them anything other than being beholden to legally cooperate with them when and if they ask for legally binding assistance.

The anti-Trump whistleblower whose allegations against President Donald Trump sent Congress into an impeachment frenzy concealed his interactions with House Democrats from the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) and failed to disclose them as required.
An official confirms the whistleblower failed to disclose prior contacts with House Democrats regarding the allegations of his August 12 complaint. The box in Part 3, Question 1 of the form regarding contacts with Congress or congressional committees was unchecked and left blank. The dates of those contacts were also not disclosed as required. And the specific members and committees that were contacted were likewise not disclosed in the section requiring that information.
wdmso 10-06-2019, 06:29 AM analysis finds Trump's use of heated phrases including "lamestream media," "bull#^&#^&#^&#^&," "coup," "treason," "enemy of the people" and "corrupt media" jumped considerably beginning in March of this year. October is on pace to set a record.
Lies mean more to the Trump supporter then written word or spoken words . Its odd .. and trump supporters are still under impression we are only here because of hate for Trump. And he has an R next to his name . Thats their simplicity showing. Because they believe he has done nothing wrong ... no court no law nothing will sway them from their allegiance to Him. And they support his Alliances with china Ukraine and Russia for assistance on findind dirt on his political rival clearly comes 2nd to having allegiance to the People and country and Form of Goverment which has inspired the world. And they live in it.
And to think these same people think Obama did more damage to the American image in the World .. and Some how Trump has carried us back to the zenith of American influence and world leadership .. need to brush up on their history.. because if correct spelling is the depth of your understand of the world . Its not enough..

‘Groundbreaking’ disclosures fall apart, hoaxes are exposed, the media are discredited, over and over and over again.
What do the Kavanaugh hearings, Jussie Smollett, the Covington kids, the Mueller investigation, and now the Trump phone call all have in common?
Staged melodrama, media collusion hysteria, progressive demands that justice be served immediately, promises of walls-are-closing-in blockbuster revelations from new witnesses, supposed surprise revelatory documents, fusions between Democratic politicians and Washington bureaucrats — and then bust, nada, and teeth-gnashing as the truth catches up to various rumor-mongers.
The disgraced purveyors of lies — a Christine Blasey Ford, Michael Avenatti, Nathan Phillips, Jussie Smollet, Adam Schiff — for a time go mute, content with progressives’ praise that they lied for a moral cause and almost pulled it off.
The particular narrative is not all that important, at least compared with a general overriding theme: We are in a virtual civil war, and the Left believes that it can win over the hearts and minds of 20 to 30 percent of the swing voters in the United States with therapeutic tales of racism, sexism, unearned white privilege, and right-wing greed and selfishness, and also by destroying the elected president. Particular events in the news are warped and twisted, to the degree that they can be, to serve that narrative — on the principle that the superior moral end of ensuring a radical equality of result more than justifies the often tawdry and dishonest means to achieve it.
