His death left a big hole in the lives of all of us who fished with him. He was an incredible person and fantastic fisherman.

Hard to believe it has been ten years already. Steve had a big influence on many of us, he certainly is missed and will never be forgotten.

I know we all miss Flaptail as he was a well known and respected voice in the local fishing community. He was friends to many and helped a multitude of fisherman with his vast knowledge and information which he so willingly shared. I hope most of all that his family is getting along OK in his absence, I'm sure they miss him immensely. My thoughts are with them.
