Whitey and Billy...brothers in crime.
Billy Bulger when asked if he knew anything about the winter hill gang under oath........ "Who?"
Also claimed he had no idea his brother was involved with organized crime.:rotf2:

What struck me the most was the corruption of our state government (with democrat Bill Bulger as senate president) and the FBI.

At the peak of their powers, they controlled their respective constituencies the same way — with fear and intimidation. As one longtime politician once told Boston Magazine (http://www.bostonmagazine.com/2007/09/the-brother-bulger/): “What Whitey does with a gun, Billy does with a gavel.”
