I just saw that, very sad. Destined for the HoF. Conflicting reports on whether his family was on board too.

Tragic for sure, a huge loss for the NBA world. He was young, at 41 years old with 3 or 4 daughters and a wife. Some are reporting he was with one of his daughters but not confirmed yet. RIP

Why do people react to this stuff like they know the person ?
Good people die every day from cancer and other ways and are never mentioned in the news.
He Lived a privileged life every day of his life because he could put a ball through a hoop better than most anyone and the guy was a rapist

I am going to agree with RR, after a quick RIP.
But we will be inundated with this fatal accident in the coming days, yet no one even knows the names of the three American fire fighters who went to fight the Australian wild fires and lost their lives in a plane crash.....

Exactly.
Get ready for 24/7 coverage of the death of the rapist while others who die are never mentioned.

Now if this were Jim Plunkett or Fred Biletnikoff I could see it being a big news story!

Neither Jim or Fred raped any women and made it go away because of their wealth.
Not trying to piss on his grave but he lived a great 41 years that you & I will never come close to in comparison.
People die every day and their families suffer but if you can sing, act or play a sport great the media And a certain % of people who never met the celebrity in their life act as if the world ended.

Totally agree.

You’d need to be a psychologist to figure why the human brain works that way.
