I'm heading down to just a bit south of Ft. Myers for ten days, end of March to April 2nd and am interested in possibly hooking up for a back country light tackle charter for snook or tarpon, anyone have any good suggestions?

Chris Rush is a great guide down there for tarpon and snook.

He has some good reviews of trip advisor and three or four scathing reviews.

Fishmisshayden.com My son and I went down last Feb/Mar for spring training and hooked up with them to spend a day on the water. Great guide and caught a bunch of fish. They do inshore/bay trips for short money. They also do offshore stuff as well (shark). Very satisfied.

if you are into DIY fishing, rent a kayak / paddle board and go launch out of ding darling wildlife preserve out on sanibel. you'll find fish...

Bo Johnson Tenacity charters I fished with him last year. He is a beast. Put us on multiple large tarpon he is a well know south Florida guide. He will cater to any style of fishing you would like to do. And works incredibly hard. He also has a great personality and had us laughing the whole day.
