Raider Ronnie 01-30-2020, 12:43 PM You regulars that bash Trump 24/7 I notice you never say who you support. Why is that ???
Just Trump bashing 25/7 with Pete F probably the most pathetic !

Mr Free #^&#^&#^&#^&, Bernie ?
Full of #^&#^&#^&#^&, Warren ?
Dumb #^&#^&#^&#^&, Biden ?
Packing #^&#^&#^&#^&, Mayor Pete ?

Seems your self imposed ban didn't work.. a great example of what Pathetic looks like

I never self imposed a thing.
I asked John R to ban me but he won’t.
So who’s your candidate?

Jim in CT 01-30-2020, 01:51 PM I'm also curious to know who the left-leaning folks here want to win the nomination, or who they think will win the nomination.
I think Biden has the best chance in the general, but he seems to really be fading (not in the polls, but his sharpness and energy and stamina). As a Trump supporter, he's the one I'm most fearful of, because I think he has the best chance of being able to portray himself as a moderate. But it's humiliating for him that the Obamas won't endorse him.
The others? Can any of them relate to people in the middle of the country? Will any of them get blacks to turn out in big numbers? Interestingly, blacks are by far the most moderate large block of voters on the left. They don't like Bernie or Mayor Pete, can't imagine they'd get too excited about Warren. They didn't love Hilary.

I highly doubt any of these liberals will give an answer to this, certainly not an honest one.

#^&#^&#^&#^& off.
'Honest' answers (I'm a lib, I must lie according to RR), in order of preference. This is from the available candidates, I would prefer someone else, but it is what it is.
1. Biden
2. Klobachar
3. Buttigieg
Then it becomes a separation. I am not super jazzed about Warren at all, but unless she stuns in Iowa, I think she is fading away. Sanders doesn't do much for me either. I think Andrew Yang has interesting things to say (I disagree with UBI, but he isn't wrong about automation coming for jobs in the next few decades). Gabbard has some 'no BS' qualities I like but she can't win a general. I don't love some of her foreign policy positions either, and think she wimped out on the impeachment vote.
p.s. It remains my humble opinion that only repressed, angry self-loathing closet cases actually care if a dude is gay and need to offer derogatory names (i.e. the 'packing reference')

if i was a democrat, i would
probably assume biden has the best chance in the general. But man he’s not helping himself, he’s coming across as kind of feeble lately.
well have real results soon. going to be interesting.

None of them have a snowballs chance of beating Trump and they know it.

wdmso 01-31-2020, 04:40 AM Warren cant win , Sanders who the right love to say he got screwed will turn socialist attack mode Petes gay and biden is to old.. these are all Republicans views
Whats Trump bringing to the table ? Honor integrity, dignity, respect, responsibility ,? Its quite a leap of faith that those who voted for Trump as the lesser of 2 evils will do so again after watch this clown in action
The Truth is I'll support the nominee. And who they pick as VP will count more than previous elections.
We'll see ..

Jim in CT 01-31-2020, 07:35 AM what trump brings to the table are two things.
(1) a demonstrated willingness to hit back, when for example, a CNN panel says that everyone with a southern accent is hostile
to knowledge, and (2) an economic record that surpasses anything anyone has done in the last 50 years, whether you like it or not.
that, combined with the freak show candidates running on the left except for Biden ( and he’s losing his marbles obviously), will guarantee a strong trump showing, unless the economy crashes before then in a way that can be blamed on him. Possible, but unlikely.

Do you have a personal favorite Wayne, or is it simply whoever wins the ticket?

Why would you call Klobuchar a freak show?

Jim in CT 01-31-2020, 11:19 AM Why would you call Klobuchar a freak show?
Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device
I meant the top-tier candidates. Warren, Sanders, Mayor Pete, etc...I don't think Tulsi is a freak either.
Although what Klobuchar is really known for, is berating her staff like a sadist. Very well known for being mean. Regardless, she's not going anywhere.
Warren is sayig that if she wins, her pick for Secretary of Education will have to be vetted by a 9 year old transgender child. She said that, and she wasn't kidding. That party is deep, DEEP into the Twilight Zone. There's a reason why we don't let children pick what's for dinner, vote, or hire teachers.
falkners 01-31-2020, 12:10 PM I plan on voting for any one of the Democrats that are nominated. Unlike the traitor in the Whitehouse that welcomed foreign interference in our elections not once but twice and will undoubtedly do anything he can again to get re-elected.

fishgolf 01-31-2020, 02:02 PM I don't think any of the current Democratic candidates have a chance against the incumbent. However, imagine if the result of this trial is that Trump is convicted.
Then, who would be the best candidate from either party?

I think Nikki Haley will be the next GOP candidate not named Trump.

Again, I don't like censorship so why should I ban you? You can be judged by your own actions.

Whom ever wins the ticket . Wont put a sign in. My yard. For any party , but have no issues voting for R or Ds local and national..
And didnt vote for Trump, and wont again because he is an embarrassment as expected

Sea Dangles 01-31-2020, 05:03 PM I voted for the embarrassment and I likely will again. The + outweigh the -
Strange that some here lack the fortitude to actually attach their names to a candidate. Very revealing...
