I agree a smart person who flubs public speaking is better. I'm not sure I see the evidence that Biden is smart, especially now. He spent his career in the Senate known only for (1) running for president, (2) plagiarizing, and (3) playing the race card when it suited him (McCain and Romney "want to put y'all back in chains", yes that's very smart). He's a political hack who has been there forever and done almost nothing.

So, I know how hard a decision this was for him to make — and how hard it is for the millions of his supporters — especially younger voters — who have been inspired and energized and brought into politics by the progressive agenda he has championed. Bernie has done something rare in politics. He hasn’t just run a political campaign; he’s created a movement. And make no mistake about it, I believe it’s a movement that is as powerful today as it was yesterday. That’s a good thing for our nation and our future.

Senator Sanders and his supporters have changed the dialogue in America. Issues which had been given little attention — or little hope of ever passing — are now at the center of the political debate. While the Sanders campaign has been suspended — its impact on this election and on elections to come is far from over. We will address the existential crisis of climate change. We will confront income inequality in our nation. We will make sure healthcare is affordable and accessible to every American. We will make education at our public colleges and universities free. We will ease the burden of student debt. And, most important of all, we will defeat Donald Trump.
At this moment, we are in the middle of an unprecedented crisis in American history. There is enormous fear and pain and loss being felt all across the country. There are also untold stories of heroism — of nurses and health care workers and doctors and first responders and grocery store workers and truck drivers and so many others on the front lines of this crisis. Putting their own lives in danger for the rest of us. If we didn’t know it before, we know it now: This is the backbone of our nation.

Our first job is to get through the immediate crisis threatening the public health and getting into the pockets of America’s workers. But we also need to take a hard look at what we need to fix and change in this country. Trump's budgets went far beyond that.

They proposed cuts to public education, Amtrak, HUD including eliminating block grants which funds programs like Meals on Wheels, housing/rental assistance, energy assistance and other community assistance programs. He scaled back job training programs. He scaled back funding for the agency which supports minority-owned businesses. He lowered the $ for grants to college students with the greatest need for financial aid. So the impact was much greater than any Clinton budget. All this while proposing lower taxes which mostly went to the upper incomes.

I have plenty of experience parenting. So far things are going well. My oldest graduated from the Wharton School ( different frat than Trump) and has a happy life in CA. He has been a big brother since college in Philadelphia and continues to be a big brother out west. His little is a boy named Derrick and Bill has been with him for six years. Last year Bill won an award at work for being the employee that best represents the values of the company.

I specifically told TDF not to worry about it, he will confirm that. And I told Pete exactly what I thought of it - was that unfair? Zero tattling. Zero. TDF was the one who showed it to me, I didn't even see it until he reposted it.

Back to this? Ok. I was trying to say that it's not difficult to insult the liberals here, or liberals in general. not that i think we should do it the way Dangles does it, but it's not hard to do. Nothing but Trump bashing, much deserved, much made up. And lots and lots of hypocrisy, not holding democrats to nearly the same standard.

I couldn't invent a better hypothetical to illustrate this point, then the completely opposite reactions from liberals on sex abuse claims against Kavanaugh and Biden. It's a joke. A complete joke. And no one on the left can call it what it is, because you're possessed by, and slaves to, the ideology.

He just pulled up the post and it doesn't call your mom anything it asks a question - so close but not the same. It was a 1 time event. get over it. So since you kept your mouth shut when SD post vile scummy things about people's mom, dads, kids, call people vile names etc. until I mentioned it you have no grounds to stand on and it just makes you look like a hypocrite. And one other time when you cried about that statement I said it was wrong. Since SD has been doing it prior to the post getting you all upset and you didn't say anything before Pete's post it shows you are a hypocrite.
